59g French oak chardonnay barrels have aromas of pineapple, mango, papaya, vanilla and honey. These barrels have gone through a meticulous cleaning process before being shipped to our warehouse. All barrels have been power rinsed and gassed with So2 by the winery and are ready to be refilled. We recommend steaming for 6-10 min or filling with 180+ degree water over night for swelling/sanitation. This is industry standard practices.
